How to Set Up the Motif Aura Breast Pump

- Attach the valve to the breast shield.
- Twist the bottle to the breast shield.
- Insert the diaphragm.
- Select the most comfortable silicone insert for your preferred fit. Insert it into the breast shield, pressing firmly in place.
- Insert the assembled components into the pump. Be sure to check for a snug fit.

How to Use the Motif Aura Breast Pump
The Motif Aura can be operated with or without a phone. Regardless of how you control your settings, you’ll first place the Motif Aura shield over your breast so the nipple is centered correctly, adjusting the pump to rest securely in your bra. Next, be sure you’re using the most comfortably fitting breast shield insert. Try another size if needed. The Motif Aura comes with 21 mm, 24 mm, and 28 mm inserts to optimize your fit.
Operating the Motif Aura Breast Pump Manually
Here are the steps for the manual operation of the Motif Aura Breast Pump.
- Begin pumping by pressing the power button in the motor’s top center. The Motif Aura will automatically start in its massage mode to initiate letdown and milk flow.
- Using the “+” and “-” buttons, adjust the cycle and suction settings until you find one that works best for you (this can take trial and error as you get used to your breast pump – and preferred settings may vary over time).
